Take Your Shoes Off Your Teeth and Stop Running Your Mouth

I never ever considered that I would actually be in danger of wildfires. This summer is complete and utter MADNESS.

Natural disasters seem to be all sorts of confused as of late. Hurricanes are hitting the Eastern seaboard, and wildfires have been running rampant throughout Texas. Bastrop State Park will look rather haggard and bare once they manage to snuff out the flames. It's sad, really, that our beautiful state is suffering such a tragic crisis, but there really isn't much we can do other than battle it as best we can.

I direly wish that some sort of divine force of intervention will come along and rescue us from this ridiculous drought.

But wait, this is supposed to be a blog about me. Me me me me me.

A couple of weeks ago, I was sent a job listing for a company called Allied-THA. The company does regional publicity and promotions for high end entertainment clients. I applied, got into the first round of interviews, got into the second round of interviews, and I have been waiting since last Tuesday to hear what the outcome is. Frankly, I have the mind that I didn't get it, but I like to think that I made a damn good impression either way.

Other than that, not much is different. I'm through with all of the traveling for now, but events are stirring up for the fall, and I am MORE than excited. I have a wedding to go to in October with some rather charming arm-candy (I know you're reading this, so text me), there are some really awesome shows to go to and I have a friend who might possibly be wearing a gorgeous new piece of jewelry before the end of the year. Things are looking up.

That being said, I'm going to thank my friend Hanna for working at Star Cinema Grill in Missouri City. Since she has been working there, I have seen three different movies fo' free! I plan on going to see Shark Night this afternoon...alone... I don't expect to have anyone else in the theater. Anyway, it's free of charge, so I'm definitely not complaining about being able to see a very probably crappy movie. Honestly, I couldn't care less, I just love movies.

"Gainfully Unemployed" Will Lose its Charm Soon

The waiting game is the absolute worst kind of game. Ever.
